Primo tour mondiale con Brian Johnson alla voce. Dopo quattro anni di assenza, gli AC/DC tornano ad esibirsi in Australia. Il Tour del 1980 fu il primo nel quale gli AC/DC cominciarono a suonare nelle grandi arene da headliners. Per la prima volta nella storia della band, il tour arrivò anche in Giappone per alcune date nel 1981.
