A few months ago we had this idea in mind, deliver to the 5 members of the band custom shirts of our national football team, with the hope of seeing them worn on the occasion of the show in Udine. In 2001 in Paris and Barcelona in June of last year, in fact (the only two occasions up to the concert Friulian) respectively, we could see the whole band and Brian dress ... different clothes. A "new" for a band like AC / DC, used to maintain the same clothes for the entire duration of the tour. And so we thought, in collaboration with our friends at AC / DC Abruzzo , why not groped too? The media had them, it was enough to find the official uniforms and state the name of the components on the back. Said and done.
The plans were to meet the band in the hotel where they stayed in Udine, but just days before the concert, we became aware of the fact that they would arrive in Italy from Vienna (landing in Trieste with a private flight) specifically for the show, and then leave immediately afterwards.
Time was running out and we had to find a solution to achieve our goal: to go directly to the airport private? Too far. Wait to meet them in a hotel during other dates? It would not make any sense. Given the impossibility of access to the backstage for lack of time, we decided to contact the tour manager (now used to recognize our faces around the world) and deliver them directly to him just before the show. 8.30 Appointment to the right side of the stage. There lurk with flag in sight, at one point we see our man. Tim recognizes us, approaches and smiles at us from a height of 2 meters in height. We tell him that the bag contains a gift for band, 5 custom jerseys, and explain that it would be a dream to see them worn by just one of the band members. He smiles and looks at it a surprise. "Wow". At that point back behind the stage, after having promised to deliver them directly to interested parties ...
The concert starts. Too unlikely to see them worn right away. The right time as we know, at the beginning of Highway to hell that we have to cross our fingers. Angus appears from the floor of the stage ... nothing. Still shirtless. Malcolm and Cliff enter from the sides: the same mesh as before. Phil: ditto.
Begins the first verse and look at Brian ... his vest but there is still something not quite right, a pair of blue short-sleeved one can see ... it's done! We remain doubtful for a few seconds on the choice of keeping a vest ... maybe the shirt is too tight? 
Indeed we were a moment undecided on the sizes to buy .. but certainly far junior to Angus and Malcolm ... It does not matter, we are always in seventh heaven! Meanwhile, the public has seen it all and you will immediately sense the excitement every time the singer is framed on the big screens, but the best is yet to come! For Those about to rock slides quickly ... and the last "Fire!" Brian is without a vest! The tricolor on the heart is well in sight, just in time to greet Udine and wish a "Forza Italian" iprossimi for the World Cup that we are sure, will follow Brian rooting for our country! Come on Brian!
